I don't know - but for me I like a loud exhaust

The flap can be closed it its too loud I guess?

In the UK we do not need ECC approval, so the racing tube poses no issues - but I think in Germany you need ECC?

I've held off with updates as I've most been just driving the thing of late! Clicked over to the 6k miles mark this week already!

Coilovers have bedded in as much as I think they will and the handling is superb - my only gripe is the ride is rock hard with the 18's fitted!

Today I decided to make one last major purchase before the baby comes in January and in a moment of madness I've ordered the Remus exhaust system.

Ive gone for the valvetronic rear box, the carbon exhaust tips and the optional 'racing tube' (which removes the centre silencer) for added noise and cracks.

Some pictures of what seems to be a very nicely engineered bit of kit!

I've got to wait for the exhaust to be produced on Friday and it should be shipped the following week - so the provisional date for fitting is 2 weeks from now.

A fellow forum member on another forum has contacted Remus, and they have told him

Acording to Remus, this video shows the back box in conjunction with the 'Racing Tube'

Yeh, the garage had my car in from 10am until 5pm fitting the KW's and doing a full Hunter laser alignment.

Most of the time was spent perfecting the rear ride height!!!

The spring must be removed for the height to be adjusted on the back - not very easy compared to the R56!

The noise from the rear of my KW's has now disappeared!! Good news, but strange that its just gone??

18x8 ET45 is also fine, so maybe you should get your TD wheels fitted??

I also spoke to Milltek here in the UK and they are releasing their exhaust in November - they have a test car in their hands at present. Should be interesting to see / hear what its like compared to the Remus.

I really want the Remus, but the cost is really expensive!!

The camber is ridiculous!!!

I think the Cooper bumper looks very aggressive with the fog lights removed.

The problem might be making the holes look good?
