BAD NEWS!!! The gear linkage has broken on the MINI

MINI Assist came out and the bloke has done a running repair on the car with cable ties but it's going to have to go to the dealers a week on Thursday to have it replaced. The even worse news is that it's a 2 day job and the full centre console needs to come out to get access to it all.I'm livid!!

Good news though..... I finally got a decent video of the exhaust today - two more to follow once they are uploaded

I don't think the Remus is as expensive as you quote? The Remus with carbon tips and racing tube is £1180 in the UK - That works out at about 1470 EUR, no? I only paid £1070 including the fitting though as I had a good discount

JCW exhuast will sadly only be part of the JCW tuning kit, which with carbon tips is priced at 2200 EUR or with stainless tips 1960 EUR.

Also, Super Sprint make 100 cel downpipes for the F56 if your wanting to get hold of one

I wish there were some decent air intakes on the market! Craven Speed have one but it looks like it will suck in warm air, not cold.

Did you decide to have the Racing Tube?? Or did you go for the front silencer?

Yeh we are lucky that we don't have to have TUV or ECC approval on car parts.

Its really loud - but with the valved closed it is fine.

Here is a quick video I took this evening.

Sport Mode is on throughout the video. The valve is opened, then closed and then opened again to give an idea of the sound difference.

In this video the following Remus part numbers are fitted:

UK Retail for the set up in this video is £1180.

Apologies for the distorted sound, its that loud I think I had the camera too close to the tailpipes! The video does not do the sound justice!
