Sodele, @Tony83 hat mich um Hilfe gebeten. Ich übersetzte mal frei und würde ggf. auch Antworten übersetzen.

Er hat einen Cooper S mit variabler Dämpfung und hat im Sport Modus die etwas schwerere Lenkung. Nun fühlt er, wie bei ca 120/130 km/h die Lenkung plötzlich wieder weicher, leichter wird. Er fragt ob noch andere dieses beobachtet haben oder ob es ein Fehler an seinem Mini ist.

I followed your instructions but it doesn't work but I found the problem
On the runner I noticed a little plastic piece that has, on the upper part, some kind of "button", that does "click" when you press. I pressed it few times and then I moved it back and forward on the runner with my hand

Then, I lift up the back rest and the memory now works
I'm very very happy!

Well, we had a discussion a few month ago. It seems, the seat needs some kind of inital movement to work well. Basically you need to sit on the seat and move the seat to the very front and then move the seat to the far end position. The whole seat I mean, not only the back rest. I did the same and then it was ok. Give it a try.

Thanks a lot! I tried but it doesn't work During the movement forward and back, Have I to hold the seat lever or when I reach the end position have I to release the lever, and then hold again for the forward movement? However, in both ways, it doesn't work
