    Well, we had a discussion a few month ago. It seems, the seat needs some kind of inital movement to work well. Basically you need to sit on the seat and move the seat to the very front and then move the seat to the far end position. The whole seat I mean, not only the back rest. I did the same and then it was ok. Give it a try.

    Thanks a lot! I tried but it doesn't work :( During the movement forward and back, Have I to hold the seat lever or when I reach the end position have I to release the lever, and then hold again for the forward movement? However, in both ways, it doesn't work :(

    I think, the release lever doesnt matter in this case. Just move the full seat to the very front/rear end and release the release lever at both ends.
    It is also quite important to operate the seat in the right way, please try this after the front/rear movement by the seat release lever.
    To give way for the rear passenger, fold the backrest first and then move the whole seat to the front, without release lever of the seat post. Of course, only use the release lever of the back rest.
    To return the seat, move the whole seat to the former postion w/o release the seat lever, it should stop at the old position. Then put the back rest in the upright position.
    In my car, when I do the back rest in upright first, it does not work either.

    I followed your instructions but it doesn't work :( but I found the problem :D
    On the runner I noticed a little plastic piece that has, on the upper part, some kind of "button", that does "click" when you press. I pressed it few times and then I moved it back and forward on the runner with my hand


    Then, I lift up the back rest and the memory now works :D
    I'm very very happy!

    Bei mir war es noch besser. Am nächsten Tag nach der Abholung vom 60Ter-Service Anruf vom :) wegen Terminvereinbarung für eine "technische Aktion" (Austausch Kühlmittelsensor). Nach zwei Anläufen (Auto am Abend ins AH gebracht und am nächsten Abend wieder abgeholt - selbstverständlich ohne Ersatzwagen) wurde der Sensor dann doch nicht gewechselt. Kam aber erst raus, als ich den R60S in Zahlung gegeben habe.

    Die nächste NL ist leider in Nürnberg (~100km). Alles andere sind nur Händler. Habe den F56 bei einem anderen Händler gekauft und hoffe stark, dass der Service dort besser ist. War bis jetzt noch nicht dort, deshalb lebt die Hoffnung noch... :D
