Thanks!
I think the car has been shared on a few different forums and facebook groups!
I think I am one of the only people to really change much on the car at the moment.
This forum seems to have lots of good info, so I will stick around!

Another User here change also a lot. His Nick is @derfuchs77

Got the car back yesterday then it rained!!
The Gtechniq finish is amazing, after a 2 hour drive in torrential rain it still looked fantastic! The beading is awesome & the way it repels water is equally impressive.

Wow, that looks awesome!!
Is this DIY or a professional work?

KW Variant 1 Coilovers are been ordered on Friday (when I get back from my time at the MINI factory)
I have FINALLY got KW UK to understand that they are available to order! (they have actually been available since late last week, but it seems KW Germany forgot to tell KW UK.... which is a long and frustrating story!)
The lead time is 4-6 weeks as they are not currently stock piled yet, so it will be another month or so until I get them on the car!

Yes, this was done by a professional (cost: £400) and took 2 days!
The car had a single stage machine polish, fully clay barred to remove contaminants, full IPA wipe down and then a coat of C1 followed by 2 coats of EXO. The trims and windows were treated using the relevant Gtechniq products as well as the interior and wheels.

really nice...
I have a question about the wheels:
They are 8x18 et45, right?
Do you have any rubber on the fender or something else?
-
I've never heard of Gtechniq before and in general I am not convinced of a mirror gloss sealant, because the brilliance and the wow factor disappear quite quickly.
But I'm surprised, because my internet research showed a very good customer feedback of Gtechniq.
What do you expect, how long will your Gtechniq sealant last?
-
The Gtechniq comes with a 5yr warranty which suggests the protection will last the 5 years!
I plan to have it "topped up" every 18 - 24 months to ensure the finish stays perfect!
